Engineering Internship

Job Summary

Along with networking and gaining mentorship, Engineering Interns will spend time working on skills great for later in their career journeys. Engineering Interns will learn how to plan and execute technical production, communicate their visions effectively, and collaborate with a team on a shared goal.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assisting with engineering designs, analysis, reporting, surveys, operations and studies including equipment deployment and monitoring for a range of project types including: civil, environmental and coastal projects
  • Assist with obtaining, updating, and maintaining plans, permits, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Utilize design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs; plans and designs for civil works
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
  • Assist Senior Engineers with tasks as given

Education and Experience

  • 2nd – 4th year engineering students
  • GPA should be no less than 2.5
